2008
In 2008, five young artists pursuing their art education, mulled over a cup of tea, brainstorming over ways to spend their summer break. It was an endeavor buoyed by the dream of five enthusiastic young artists concerned about the lack of arts education available to children.
Their conversation led to starting art classes for school children at their individual homes.
Later on, two of these founders started running door to door art classes, visiting a small group of students living in the same locality teaching them basics of art using creative techniques.
From those early days, Jalsa has flourished with a strong vision and a firm focus on inspiring kids for life through the arts by providing the highest quality visual and performing arts education to children regardless of their financial circumstances.
